The Honor 9 Lite comes with a quad camera setup with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors accompanied by an LED flash on the rear panel. On the front is another dual camera setup comprising a13-megapixel primary camera anda 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The dual camera modules on the phone have been optimised for bokeh and portrait images, with the secondary cameras being depth-sensing units. The Honor 9 Lite runs Android Oreo with EMUI v8.0 on top and is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery. The phone will also be offering India-specific features like a Ride Mode (similar to Samsung’s S-Bike mode aimed at two-wheeler riders) and Paytm integration. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
Honor is offering the smartphone in four hues- Navy, Seagull Gray, Magic Nightfall, and Pearl White.The phone will be a Flipkart and Honor Store exclusive in India and will set you back by Rs 10,999 for the 3GB + 32GB model and Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The first flash sale of thesmartphonehas been scheduledfor 12 am on January 21st. Honor is also offering a 10 percent instant cashback on purchases made through Citibank debit and credit cards.
