Gubernatorial hopeful Zachary Adam Moses explains how the weather systems of the Wasatch Front, and the greater western United States have collapsed due to human water diversion.

This collapse has led to lowered water tables throughout the west, and dwindling lake-effect snowfall. Dust storms blown off dry lake-beds throughout the Great Basin are now leading to extremely unhealthy inversion-style pollution bombs along the Wasatch Front in Utah. This dust is also destabilizing remaining snow-pack which is leading to flash flooding.

Moses unveils the first glimpse at an ambitious plan to restore the collapsing ecosystem, produce green energy, and reduce the majority of pollution along the Wasatch Front. The side effect of this moonshot project? Increased fresh water stores, restored habitat and cleaner air.

Moses promises a feasibility study regarding a potential agreement between Utah, Nevada and California to pump sea-water along the I-80 corridor to a series of pumped hydro storage batteries using only renewable energy. Potential sites are located adjacent to collapsed saline lakes throughout the three states. These lakes occur most abundantly along the I-80 corridor. The feasibility study will be commissioned within the first 100 days of the Moses Administration, with plans for implementation to follow.
